Support those who have served our country
As an Armed Forces Covenant signatory, we encourage any organisation that is interested in supporting the Armed Forces community to sign up to the covenant. It is a simple way to show your support and make a real difference to those who have served our country.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a voluntary pledge that demonstrates support for the Armed Forces community, including both serving personnel and veterans. A pledge could be as straightforward as implementing an HR policy that grants paid leave for Reserve or Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) duty, providing a discount on products or services, or adopting a positive approach toward hiring Service Leavers.

Becoming a Forces-friendly employer
The West Midland RFCA works with organisations to support the engagement objectives of the Armed Forces, raise awareness of the Reserve Forces and Cadets, and encourage organisations to support service leavers, reservists, and CFAV.
We know from experience that supporting Armed Forces personnel brings skills such as a reliable work ethic, self-motivation, leadership, and teamwork to your organisation. These attributes can lead to enhanced productivity and create a positive team environment focused on efficiency in the workplace.
